Angling
Angling is fishing with a hook.
This hook is usually attached by a fishing line to a fishing rod .
Often a float will be used on the line and will let the angler know if they have a bite .
The rod is usually fitted with a fishing reel which
enables more line to be let out or can be wound up to tighten and store line .
The hook has bait or lures attached to entice fish .
Angling is a major form of recreational fishing
Commercial fisheries also use angling methods
eg longlining or trolling .
